The website doctor.co.il (the "Site") is operated by [TO BE FILLED — שם החברה / Company Name] (the "Operator," "we," "our"). Use of the Site is governed by the terms set out in this document.
This English version is provided as a reference translation. In the event of a conflict between the Hebrew and English versions, the Hebrew version shall prevail.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Access to and use of the Site constitute full and express agreement to these Terms of Service and to the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms, please immediately discontinue any use of the Site.
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Operator.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this document:
- "User" — any person who browses the Site, consumes content on the Site, or uses the Site in any other manner.
- "Medical Content" — articles, guides, descriptions of medical conditions, symptoms, tests, and treatments published on the Site.
- "Verified Doctor" — a physician or other medical professional whose identity has been verified against the Israeli Ministry of Health registry and whose profile appears in the Site's doctor directory.
- "Content Review Status" — the editorial status displayed alongside each Medical Content item, reflecting the editing and medical-review stage of that item (for example: "medically reviewed," "under update," and the like).
- "Doctor Directory" — the listing of physicians and medical professionals shown on the Site, including professional details and contact information to the extent published.
3. Nature of Service
The Site is an informational platform, not the practice of medicine. Its purpose is to make general medical information available to the Israeli public in Hebrew and to help users locate medical professionals through the Doctor Directory.
The Site does not provide medical services, does not diagnose, does not recommend specific treatments, does not prescribe medication, and is not a substitute for an in-person consultation with a licensed physician. All information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

4. Eligibility and Use by Minors
Use of the Site requires legal capacity and the ability to enter into binding contractual obligations under applicable law. A user under the age of 18 may use the Site only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Site is not designed to collect personal information from minors.
5. Acceptable and Prohibited Use
You undertake to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Service. Among other restrictions, you must not:
- Use the content of the Site for commercial purposes without prior written authorization from the Operator;
- Copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute content from the Site in violation of intellectual property law;
- Use the Site in a manner that may impair its operation, including any attempted intrusion, mass automated scraping, request flooding, or injection of malicious code;
- Misrepresent your identity or contact details;
- Use the Site to provide medical advice to another person, or rely on the Site as a substitute for actual medical care.
The Operator reserves the right to block any user who breaches these terms, without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Site — including its design, code, original Medical Content, logo, trademarks, and databases — belong to the Operator or to rights-holders who have licensed such rights to the Operator. No commercial or non-commercial use is permitted other than reasonable personal use of the Site itself.
Content added by a Verified Doctor to their personal profile (practice description, services, hours, photo, and the like) remains the property of the doctor; however, the doctor grants the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to display the content on the Site and through related distribution channels, for as long as the profile is displayed.
7. Doctor Directory — Disclaimers
The Doctor Directory is built from public data, including the Israeli Ministry of Health registry, together with information added by the doctor. While we strive to maintain accuracy, errors, gaps, or stale data may occur. The appearance of a doctor in the Directory does not constitute a personal recommendation by the Operator, an endorsement of clinical quality, or a guarantee of availability.
It is the User's responsibility to independently verify a doctor's details, license, and area of expertise before seeking treatment. The Doctor Directory is also subject to the Israeli Health Professions Regulation Law [CITATION NEEDS VERIFY — חוק הסדרת העיסוק במקצועות הבריאות, התשס״ח-2008] and to advertising restrictions applicable to medical professionals.
8. Privacy Policy Reference
Processing of information about Site Users is carried out in accordance with the Site's Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference and forms an integral part of these Terms of Service. Use of the Site constitutes consent to the Privacy Policy as well.
9. Medical Disclaimer
Your attention is expressly drawn to the Medical Disclaimer published on the Site on a separate page. The Medical Disclaimer is an integral part of these Terms of Service. For the avoidance of doubt: information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only, is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and must not be relied upon in place of consultation with a qualified professional. 10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of the Site, reliance on Medical Content, or engagement with a doctor located through the Site. In any case in which liability cannot be fully disclaimed under applicable law, liability shall be limited to the lowest amount permitted by such law [CITATION NEEDS VERIFY — Standard Contracts Law, 5743-1982; Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981].
Nothing in this section shall derogate from non-waivable consumer rights granted under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
The User undertakes to indemnify the Operator, its officers, and partners against any damage, expense, loss, or liability incurred as a result of the User's breach of these Terms of Service, including reasonable attorneys' fees.
12. Termination
The Operator may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend, restrict, or terminate the User's access to the Site, in whole or in part, including in the event of breach or suspected breach of these Terms of Service or any obligation imposed by law.
The User may discontinue use of the Site at any time.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
14. Amendments
The Operator may update these terms from time to time. Material updates will be posted on the Site and reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Site after publication of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the remainder of the terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and the Medical Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to use of the Site and supersede any prior agreement or understanding, whether written or oral.
